Speed Traps on Dargle Road Bray

A number of Dargle Road residents have contacted us about the presence of a Garda Speed Trap at a hidden location on the Dargle Road, suspected to be somewhere between the Egan Centre and the Motorway.

€80 fines have been issued, with 2 points added to Drivers’ Licences on prompt payment. The fine increases to €120 with 4 points added if the first payment deadline of 28 days is missed. After a second 28 day period, a court appearance looms for non-payment.

So be warned! All that we can advise is that you keep an eye out for the 50km/hr speedlimit signs between Diamond Valley and the Motorway and keep safely below the statutory speed.
