The setting is somewhere in the country near Dublin. Something has happened – electricity no longer exists and food and medicine are dwindling, which inevitably leads to the survivors going tribal. The story focuses around two couples Jonathan (Ciarán McMenamin)  and his wife Hannah, and another younger couple Mark and Katie. Nerves begin to fray and a recent infidelity threatens to accelerate the deterioration of the already-strained relations between the foursome, who are basically trapped in a cabin. This low-budget Irish drama concerns a breakdown of society, concentrating on a transitional phase from unchallenged civility to survival-of-the-fittest amorality. Dir: Conor Horgan, 2009

It’s not only a very fine picture; it’s practically a ransom demand for like-minded schemes. More movies like this one, please.” Irish Times
